Theodore P. Stank is the co-executive director of the Global Supply Chain Institute at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He leads the Advanced Supply Chain Collaborative, a partnership between UT and Fortune 500 firms exploring innovation in supply chain management.

Stank previously served as department head for marketing and logistics, associate dean for academic programs, and associate dean for executive education at the Haslam College of Business. A U.S. Navy veteran, he also held sales and marketing roles with Abbott Laboratories.

He has consulted and taught executives at major companies including Dell, Pepsi, Whirlpool, and Walmart. Author of more than 100 articles and five books, Stank’s research focuses on supply chain strategy and performance. Named a DC Velocity “Rainmaker,” he received CSCMP’s 2023 Distinguished Service Award and was inducted into the Supply Chain Hall of Fame.

Thomas J. Goldsby is the Dee and Jimmy Haslam Chair of Supply Chain at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He serves as co-executive director of the Global Supply Chain Institute and directs the MS-SCM Global program. 

A leading authority on logistics and supply chain strategy, Goldsby’s insights appear regularly in major business media. He co-hosts the “Tennessee on Supply Chain Management” podcast with Ted Stank and has authored more than 100 articles and six books. Editor emeritus of Transportation Journal and former co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Business Logistics, he has led executive programs on six continents and supervised more than 100 industry projects. Recognized for his teaching and research excellence, Goldsby received DC Velocity’s “Rainmaker” honor and the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award from Supply Chain Leaders in Action in 2019.
